Oxford United will be looking to notch up back-to-back victories in the Blue Square Premier when they travel to Moss Lane on Saturday.
Their hosts, Altrincham, have won just once in their last five matches but despite this poor run of form, Graham Heathcote's charges remain in a solid tenth position in the standings.
Heathcote will be tempted to recall winger Chris Denham and striker John McAliskey after the pair were rested for the 2-1 defeat to York last time out while Nicky Clee is a doubt due to a groin problem.
His opposite number, Chris Wilder, is sweating over the fitness of Chris Hargreaves (knee) and Simon Clist (concussion).
Wilder told The Banbury Cake that he won't rush his players back.
"We're not going to take any unnecessary risks with anyone," he said.
"With Clisty, we're just waiting on his stitches coming out and seeing if he's OK after his concussion."
Adam Murray and Kevin Sandwith are definitely sidelined with injuries but there is some good news for the Yellows as striker Matt Green returns to the fray following suspension.
Oxford are third in the table and are eager to build up momentum ahead of the play-offs.
