Kettering clinch Furlong deal
Veteran striker Paul Furlong has joined Blue Square Bet Premier club Kettering Town in a playing and coaching capacity.
Furlong donned the Poppies shirt for the first time in Tuesday night's pre-season friendly against Milton Keynes Dons.
The 41-year-old brings vast experience to Rockingham Road having played for Chelsea, Watford, Birmingham, QPR, Luton, Southend and Barnet - where he featured prominently in League Two last season.
Manager Lee Harper had been searching for a target man and now appears to have killed two birds with one stone as Furlong looks to further his coaching knowledge under his tutelage.
