Barrow co-coach David Bayliss
Barrow struck three times in the final 30 minutes to beat Crawley Town 4-1 and take a major step towards securing their Blue Square Premier status on Thursday.
In a gritty clash, Simon Wiles (62), Nick Chadwick (79) and Jason Walker (87) were on target for the victorious hosts, while Ben Smith canceled out his early own goal in the 58th minute.
The contest first ignited when Smith inadvertently put the ball in his own net in the 38th minute to give the Bluebirds a 1-0 lead at the break.
After the restart, Smith redeemed his earlier failing by nodding in the equaliser just short of the hour-mark.
However, the hosts came back strongly as Wiles fired low into the bottom left corner three minutes later to regain the lead.
Nick Chadwick then nudged the home team further in front when he pounced from close-range in the latter stages to all but seal the result.
Any further doubt was then removed when Jason Walker struck at the death to complete a ruthless second-half display.
The result lifted Barrow to 15th on the table, while the Red Devils remain in eighth-place.
Barrow bookings: Bond, Chadwick.
Crawley Town bookings: Langston, Hutchinson.
Referee: Tony Harrington (Cleveland).
Attendance: 970.
