Jason Walker
Jason Walker struck twice to help visiting Barrow edge a 2-1 victory over Kidderminster Harriers on Tuesday night.
Walker's brace helped alleviate some of the embarrassment to his team-mate Paul Edwards who scored an early own goal in the seventh minute.
Edwards put the ball into his own net when attempting to intercept a cross by Chris McPhee.
However, the Bluebirds were back in it when Walker pounced from close-range in the 18th minute after Jasbir Singh saved his original effort.
Walker then scored what turned out to be the winner just before the break after Singh failed to deal with his header from deep inside the area.
Harriers had the better of the possession but they were unable to make it count as Brian Smikle struck the upright with a header, while Stuart Tomlinson shone in the Barrow goal.
The result leaves Kidderminster in 11th and the Bluebirds in 15th place on the Blue Square Premier table.
Kidderminster bookings: none
Barrow bookings: Jones, Owen.
