Histon v Barrow

Histon simply have to get a result against Barrow at the Glassworld Stadium in order to retain their Blue Square Premier status for another season.

The Stutes are currently three points above the drop zone, but if results go against them, they could be relegated.

Therefore a result is vital, be it a draw or a win, and manager Alan Lewer insists that his side will be up for the fight come kick off.

Lewer told Cambridge News: "We want to go out fighting on Saturday and earn the right to stay in this division.

"We want to finish the season in the right way and with a positive result."

"We can't rely on other results, we have to do it ourselves," he added.

"If we concentrate on what we're doing we won't have to worry about anyone else.

"We want to do it ourselves on the pitch for the fans, to give them something to cheer on the last day of the season."

Matt Langston and Danny Wright will start for the Stutes, while Gareth Gwillim has recovered from injury and could feature in the starting XI.

Lee Smith is rated as a doubt and may miss out with a back problem, although a late fitness test could see him take a place on the bench.

Barrow joint-boss Dave Bayliss could hand young James Owen the chance to shine against the Stutes.

With both Andy Bond and Robin Hulbert currently struggling with injuries, Owen could deputise, especially with the FA Trophy final in the not too distant future.

Bayliss told the North-West Evening News: "James Owen has come in and done well, he could start at Histon.

"He deserves his chance. He's a little bit like Bondy (Andy Bond) in that he has loads of energy. He is also very enthusiastic, which me and Shez (fellow joint-boss Darren Sheridan) love."

In other team news, Gareth Jelleyman will not feature due to an ankle problem, while Paul Rutherford and Gregg Blundell will require late fitness tests.
