Charlie Sheringham
An FA tribunal have awarded Blue Square South club Welling United £6,500 for the sale of Charlie Sheringham.
21-year-old Sheringham joined Bishop's Stortford in May and as he is under 24-years-old and has been offered a better deal, the Wings were entitled to compensation.
Welling will be receive 25 per cent as per the sell-on clause if Stortford decide to sell the 2009 player-of-the-year.
Welling general manager Barry Hobbins told Kent Online: "It's difficult to make a comparison but we received a fair hearing and are happy with the outcome.
"We're pleased that it has now been heard and dealt with. Any sort of income is welcome, especially at this moment in time with the lack of fixtures."
