Steve Morison
Stevenage Borough inched closer towards to the play-off places on Saturday after cruising to a comfortable victory over 10-man Lewes at Broadhall Way.
The first half-hour produced little in the way of goalmouth action but the hosts finally got the breakthrough they were looking for after 33 minutes when Lee Boylan collected Steve Morison's inviting pass on the edge of the penalty area and fired a shot into the bottom-right corner.
Lewes were still reeling from the first goal when they suffered another setback just three minute later.
Morison latched onto a pass from Andrew Drury and surged into the box, firing an effort into the bottom left corner.
The second period was a more closely-contested affair but Josh Klein-Davies did his side no favours in the 75th minute when he was shown a straight red card.
Boro pressed their numerical advantage and finally put the final nail in the visitors' coffin in the 87th minute when Darren Murphy's through ball found Morison, who fired a shot into the bottom-left corner to complete an impressive brace.
