Justin Richards
Kidderminster Harriers striker Justin Richards netted the only goal of the game as his side notched up a victory over Lewes on Saturday.
The three points takes the Harriers into sixth place while Lewes remain rock-bottom after they were compounded to their
15th successive league loss.
The visitors had the chance to take an early lead through Richards, but his free kick failed to trouble Lewes keeper Rikki Banks as it hit the wall.
Richards wracked up his 18th goal of the season after 20 minutes of play when Matthew Barnes-Homer made a good run down the right and delivered a low cross that Richards fired home.
Although the Rooks produced a spirited display, they were unable to breach a strong Harriers defence to create any clear-cut chances.
Matthew Brittain also went close for the visitors with a late free-kick but his effort was well blocked.
Kidderminster will feel the winning margin should have been more after they missed a number of opportunities in the second period, but boss Mark Yates will be pleased with the three points
