Boro boss Graham Westley
Stevenage Borough claimed third place in the Blue Square Premier standings on Saturday after battling their way to a comfortable victory over Weymouth at Wessex Stadium.
The visitors broke the deadlock three minutes before the half-time break when Andrew Drury fired an effort into the top-left corner from just inside the area.
Weymouth battled valiantly for much of the second period but eventually fell further behind in the 86th minute when Steve Morison collected a pass from Mitchell Cole and guided the ball into the bottom-right corner from inside the penalty area.
The Terras seemed to lose the resolve because Boro were again knocking on the door just two minutes later.
Midfielder Michael Bostwick had space and time in the box and shot into the bottom-left corner to make it 3-0.
Weymouth bookings: Reed 33, Phillips 88, Beavon 90+4, Sandwith 90+5.
Stevenage bookings: Morison 34, Roberts 68, Murphy 70, Albrighton 81.
Ref: B Malone.
