Santos Gaia
Crawley Town moved up to sixth place in the Blue Square Premier just four points off the play-off places after a 4-2 victory over Weymouth on Sunday.
The Reds put in an inspired first-half display in which they netted on three occasions, the first coming from a header former Terras player Santos Gaia, who only left Weymouth last week, after just five minutes.
However, the crisis-hit Weymouth, who were patched together with loan signings from Peterborough and Swindon, managed to find an equaliser in the 17th minute when Jordan Vincent curled the ball into the back of the net from what looked to be an attempted cross.
But it was only ten minutes later that Steve Evans' side re-took the lead when Dannie Bulman made it 2-1 with a well-taken first time shot.
Just two minutes later the Reds gave themselves a two-goal cushion when Gavin Hoyte fouled Jon Shaw and Sam Rents stepped up to score a wonderful goal from the resulting free-kick.
But Alan Lewer's men refused to go away and they pulled back a goal in the 38th minute when Reds goalkeeper Simon Rayner's blunder saw him put the ball into his own net following an inswinging James Coutts corner.
The Broadfield Stadium club dominated the second half and had a number of chances to kill off the game, but they failed to convert until 11 minutes from time when a superb individual effort from Lewis Killeen, who unleashed an unstoppable shot from just outside the box to make it 4-2, wrapped up the points for the Reds.
