Kettering boss Mark Cooper
Kettering scored two goals in the second-half to give them a well-deserved victory over Weymouth at Wessex Stadium on Saturday.
The Poppies dominated the first-half against a somewhat dis-jointed Weymouth team, but for all their possession they were unable to find the back of the net as they missed a number of clear-cut chances.
The Terras could have considered themselves very lucky to still be level at the break after left-back Luke Potter had a goal disallowed for a foul.
Gareth Seddon finally broke the deadlock for the visitors just six minutes after the break when he struck a fantastic
volley from 25-yards out to give his side a 1-0 lead.
The Terras battled bravely as they tried to get themselves back into the game and their best chance of the fixture came late into the second-half when substitute Fola Onibuje headed the ball just over the bar.
However, the Poppies sealed the victory and the three points in the 80th minute when Ange Lorougnon netted from close-range after a big deflection to give him his first goal in Kettering colours.
