Jimmy Quinn
Jimmy Quinn looked close to be unveiled as Blue Square South club Weymouth's new boss before the press conference schedukled for Tuesday evening was cancelled due to "unforeseen circumstances".
The Cambridge United and Bournemouth manager emerged as the front runner alongside former Histon assistant John Beck.
Weymouth chairman George Rolls ruled out a return for Garry Hill while Steve Fallon and Leroy Rosenior are considered to be outside bets.
Quinn has also managed Reading, Swindon Town, Northwich Victoria, Shrewsbury Town and Egersund IK and was sacked as manager of Bournemouth on New Year's Eve 2008 after just four months at the helm.
