Blue Square South club Bishop's Stortford have announced the signing of former Norwich City youth player David Chick.
The 23-year-old left back has been playing for Cambridge City most recently but a series of injuries curtailed his first-team involvement.
Chick made his international debut for England Schoolboys against Northern Ireland on 20th October 2000 and went on to sign for Norwich's Academy in 2001.
He stayed with the Canaries for three years but was not offered a new deal and was subsequently signed by King's Lynn, who were in the Dr Martens Eastern Division at the time.
In July 2005, Chick joined up with Rob Newman's Cambridge United for a trial and impressed sufficiently to earn a full-time deal.
He joined Cambridge City for the second half of the 2006/7 season but was released at the end of the campaign.
The left-sided defender then signed for Boston United in September 2007 before linking up with Cambridge City for a second spell.
