One in - three out at Eastleigh

Blue Square South club Eastleigh have announced the signing of defender Matt Day following the departures of Warren Goodhind, James Taylor and Steve Arnold.

22 year-old Day, who has Oxford United and Oxford City, started his career as a trainee at Premier League outfit Portsmouth.

Meanwhile, the Spitfires has also revealed that right back Warren Goodhind has "left to pursue other interests", while James Taylor has moved to Southern League Division One South and West outfit AFC Totton.

Goalkeeper Steve Arnold has signed for League One side Wycombe Wanderers after just one month with the Spitfires.

Arnold joined Eastleigh from Blue Square Premier side Grays Athletic at the start of November and can also count Norwich City, Arsenal and Boreham Wood amongst his former employers.

A statement on Eastleigh's official website reads:

"Eastleigh FC would like to thank Warren, James and Steve for their efforts during their stay with us and wish them the very best for the future."
