Martin in, Slabber out for Hawks

Blue Square South outfit Havant & Waterlooville have announced the signing of midfielder Robbie Martin from league rivals Braintree Town.

The pacey midfielder joined the Hawks ahead of their superb 3-0 win against Crawley Town in the FA Cup fourth qualifying round but didn't feature in the match as he is currently injured.

Havant supporters will be quite familiar with Martin's abilities having seen him dominate the midfield for Braintree in their recent league match against the Hawks.

Meanwhile, Hawks boss Shaun Gale has decided to release former Tottenham trainee Jamie Slabber in a bid to balance his books.

The Enfield-born striker leaves Westleigh Park after making forty-one appearances and scoring four goals in a two-year stay.
