Aggborough
Kidderminster player-assistant manager John Finnigan expects an improved performance when they host struggling Salisbury at Aggborough on Saturday.
The sixth-placed Harriers have been inconsistent in recent weeks and Finnigan is hoping that changes for the better on the weekend.
He told BBC Hereford: "We have been disappointed, but we have also thought we have not been that far away. At Luton and against York there wasn't much between the two teams.
"We knew it was going to be a tough little spell and it has shown us we need to improve to be with that pack at the top."
In team news, Luke Prosser and Lloyd Kerry are set to make their debuts, while Finnigan is doubtful with a calf injury.
Winger David McDermott is on the mend from an ulcer problem, while goalkeeper Dean Coleman remains on the sidelines with a groin injury.
Meanwhile, Salisbury will hand goalkeeper Ryan Pryce his first start as James Bittner starts a two-match ban following his red card against Forest Green.
On-loan Exeter midfielder Chris Shepherd has also been included in the match-day squad.
