Ebbsfleet boss Liam Daish
Ebbsfleet's woes continue as they suffered a 3-1 defeat to Salisbury City at Raymond McEnhill Stadium on Friday night.
The hosts prevailed thanks to goals by Aaron Martin, Chris Giles and Ben Adelsbury, while Magno Vieira netted for the relegation-threatened visitors.
In a closely-fought affair, Martin drew first blood for City in the 7th minute by pouncing on Matthew Tubbs' flick-on, following a cross from Chris Shephard.
Immediately after the restart, Fleet deservedly equalised when Vieira outpaced Giles before slotting home.
Giles, however, gave City the lead just past the hour-mark when he nodded home Sean Clohessy's corner to make it 2-1.
The Whites then secured the points in the 73rd minute when Adelsbury rattled the net with a stunning long-range strike from 35-yards.
Fleet came close to scoring through efforts by Moses Ashikodi, Ricky Shakes and Vieira, however it was not to be their night - as has been the case for most of the season.
The result leaves Salisbury in 16th place, while Ebbsfleet remain second-from-bottom in the Blue Square Premier standings.
Salisbury bookings: none
Ebbsfleet bookings: Salmon, Holmes.
Referee: Wayne Barratt (Worcestershire).
Attendance: 1,088.
