Well done to Wimbledon; but for Eastleigh's Bognor "banana skin" things could have been even more tense!
Looking at placings, Eastleigh will take Bognor, Worcester & Havant to finish the season's league matches quite happily; I can't think of a better chance for 9 points!
Looks like the boys at the top have got a bit of a tough run-in. As far as roughing it is concerned I think H&R have a more interesting reputation than Eastleigh! Match officials are there to do a job- nobody is perfect but are the players paid to help (all three of)them? A top 5 finish for Eastleigh is now guaranteed.
All this natter from London & its suburbs- Eastleigh have the character to tough it out with any of you. Ask any AFC fan after today. H&Y are ones I'm watching a bit at the moment- hot form there!
Hampton beaten at home by Newport; Newport beaten by Eastleigh at Newport; Hampton entertaining Eastleigh at home on Sat 7th March- the result should be interesting as Eastleigh are winning more away matches than at home recently!
Never mind Hampton, Chelmsford & Wimbledon; 3rd placed Eastliegh have already beaten ALL THREE & are on their longest unbeaten run of the season (7 matches). On their day they can beat the best!
Look out boys, Eastleigh are after you!
Well done Newport County. Looking forward to a Welsh derby next season... MORE >>
