As a Dartford fan I think its a shame thir manager is leaving but I don't blame Braintree for sticking to a sensible budget. Far too many clubs throw around cash they haven't got and if Braintree are sticking to what they can afford then that is to be applauded. If every club budgeted sensibly then maybe we wouldn't have so many going to the wall or having points docked for financial irregularities. I don't believe that full-time professional football is sustainable at non-league level and sooner or later the chickens will come home to roost and as many clubs go to the wall, the Braintrees of this world will still be standing tall. Most managers (ours excepted) are only interested in the short term success of the team but the board has to think of the long term viability of the whole club. I sincerely hope Braintree do really well next season.
