I think some of that is true and some of it also is false. When Hampton played chelmsford in playoffs second leg a few of your fans came over to us trying to cause a fight so stewards have to come in heavy handed as they've no idea what they could potantially be carry eg. knives. The play off final which hayes undoubtly deserved to win on the night, was also dealt with fairly well by the stewards who were told to expect a gate of 1500 but there were 3111 in the end controlled the two sets of supporters reasonabley well also and its all very well you judging hampton from the back of an arm chair but there are many people who put a lot of blood sweat and tears into that club.

The problem with H&R is that it's a small club, small badly segreated ground, a small support base, and unles it does something drastic to teh stadium, it;s goingt ihave mjor problems if or when they ever get promoted to the Conference national. Unfortunately a lot of clubs are in a similar position withgod teams but with stadiums that let them down, and also in the case of H&R Poor quality and heavy handed stewards who are simply not qualified to do their job properly. It's no good getting "doormen" to steward a football ground, they have no idea how to handle a sports crowd, especially when another club brings far more fans to hampton than the home club can muster. The fans at Hampton (except in one or two cases) are great, it's their security officials who let the club down. By all accounts thee were considerable problems there in the play off game against Hayes. with lots off local Brentford & QPR fans backing the away club. If they can't handle that properly what hope would they have against the fans of clubs like Luton Town etc, if they had been promoted ?

I would like to know why so many people think AFC Wimbledon are goin to get promoted. Yes there won blue sq south but there were only 3 points clear of Hampton & Richmand and everyone probably thinks they will go down. My prediction are 1st Luton then going up through playoffs Oxford. But i am wishfull my SUPER YORK CITY can do it :)

Sad that King has left the manager's post. Hopefully Pennyfather will do as good a job?

Torquay v Cambridge it really is the perfect final. both sides go out to win and both play passing football. With Luton in the premier next season Torquay have to go this season!

Congratulations to H&Y. Good luck to H&R for next season. Thanks to all the clubs for an exciting year's football - AND - I hope AFC Wimbledon can at least stay in the BSP by this time next year! (Must be realistic I guess.)

Come H&Y, I said a while back watch out for them and they could sneak it well done to H&R,Eastleigh and Chelmo for pushing us so hard it was close..very close just hope we can now push on and regain league satus yet again... does anyone know if we have broken any league records as were reformed in 2002 and have been promoted to conference level by 2009 has this been accomplished before so quickly by a 'new' reformed club?

webb had his very proffesional hand and eyes on the pulse at the workings of CCFC. Dont think he liked what was going on and wen he asked the question he was made to resign, that was exactly when CCFC colapsed.

Chelmsford City's crumble since new year could be down to many things, maybe losing that all important game to AFC Wimbledon in Jan? Maybe board room changes? Maybe injuries at key times? Maybe the players and staff feeling the pressure? And so they should do! If you look at the towns around us like Southend and Colchester who have League status it is hard for the county town with such a big following to be sitting in their shadows. Either way we are still in the playoffs and deservidly so! I think the reason I was so upset with losing the first leg in the way we did is because the team didn't look like they wanted to win the game, are the players actually hungry enough?? Are they worried that if we go up some will have to leave?? Either way if we lose the tie it will be a big blow for City and their fans. We have beaten every team in the playoffs this season and can do it again, I hope we can on Saturday. C'mon City!!

I am so angry at tonights result! We was suicidal in defence, we let in a goal just before half time with Hampton playing their usual route one, then saw Hampton score another just after half time, we scored one back and looked like we was getting back into it until the ref sent off player of the year Rainford which ruined the game, the next attack from the resulting free kick ended in Hampton going 3-1 up and tie over in my opinion, we are a better footballing side than Hampton but we let ourselves down with silly mistakes and poor defending, I know if we went up we would struggle but we are a big club and should be in the Conference Prem, I would take a Conf Prem struggle over a Conf South promotion hunt any day! If we are to turn the tie around away to Hampton we would deserve promotion as they are a good direct team. If not bring on next season!!

Hayes & Yeading for the final promotion spot... Please!!! Not H&R or Eastleigh and Chelmsford don't deserve it for being the so called "champions elect" earlier this season!! Dons for Conference champs next year?

Thank you Terry Brown and the whole AFC Wimbledon team, players and officials alike. Chelmo have been the most sporting on and off the pitch, good luck in the playoffs, I hope you overcome recent performance problems and lift your game to the level we at Wombledon know you to be capable of. Thanks to the Chelmo supporters for their sporting congratulations and supportive comments, you are a credit to the game.
